Christmas Ornaments: Organizing These for Storage

When it comes time to take down your tree, and then put this all up, one of the main dilemmas that you may have is what to do with the Christmas ornaments. Do you simply throw all of these into a box and mark it Christmas ornaments? Or do you organize these ornaments into boxes or sections within a larger box? For the sake of your sanity, we suggest that you do organize these. This way, if you have certain ornament that you may only use with certain themes, then you are not going through tons of ornaments to find the ones that you want. So, how can you organize these? Here are some ideas!

Tips for Organizing Your Christmas Ornaments

1. Consider organizing these by color in small plastic boxes. Then put the color of these on the box itself so that you know where white ornaments are, where red, green, purple, or whatever color that you use is.

2. Go with the theme to organize these. You will find that if you have a box devoted to candy canes, or a box devoted to angels, a box to stars, or the like, then you will find that it will be super easy to find the box that you need with the theme that you have chosen.

3. If you have more than one tree that you decorate, then organize the Christmas ornaments according to what tree it may go on. For example, if you have a huge flocked tree that you use in your main room, then mark the box as such.

The way that you organize these ornaments is completely up to you. However, the more organized that these are, the easier it will be to find the ornaments that you may need for the next year and it can save you tons of stress!
